After just coming off the red rising series I was looking for a palate cleanser. I came across this book thinking it would satisfy what I was looking for. It wasn’t until a few hours in that I realized it was part of a series. After finishing this book I purchased all the available books..
Fantastic series, will have you hooked fast if it’s up your alley. Gore, humor, great narration.

If your into video games and R rated humor, must buy! super funny and well written. the voice acting is fun and mixed with multiple actors.
The characters have grown and developed, some in obvious ways, some in completely unexpected ways. The humor and silliness present in the first two books continues, but the stakes are higher and so it does get tuned down a bit. As always, the voice performances were excellent.

The writer certainly has some talent, the story was a solid 6/10. You can tell he definitely played a fair bit of WoW back in the day. The only real complaint I have is the dwarves laughing OBNOXIOUSLY every 2 minutes in the story. I don’t know if I can stomach another book from this..
This pulpy fight porn for gamers. I actually really enjoyed the book, because it is fun, but that’s all it is. I would have given it 4 stars if it had wrapped up in one or two books. There’s just not nearly enough depth to the characters, the world, or the story to justify 10-15..
hitchhiker’s guide to the Galaxy meets running man meets cabin in the woods I am so in love with this story it panders to all of my neediness in storytelling

Never got bored with this one. Laughed out loud more than a few times. I’m going to be finishing this series for sure.
