I always check out any book narrated by Jeff Hays and this book did not disappoint! For many years, my book choices have evolved from epic SciFi/Fantasy to SciFi/Fantasy that has some humor. This one definitely fits the bill. I have also listened to book 2 and it is wonderful also. I’m eagerly awaiting book..

the story, hilarious! the performance, majestic. the humor goes all over the place, the story at a point hits you with the feels at time, just all around great, just wish the book was longer, and hoping it’s not one floor a book, because that’ll be 18 books plus we’d want more.
the story was fun as usual and the characters were great. seemed a bit short and rushed. the dungeon almost seemed like an after thought this book. a nuisance to “get out of the way” instead an interesting and dangerous setting. hopefully floor six will be more in depth.

What a journey this book takes you on. Jeff Hays has the absolute best narration to these stories. This is a book worth listening to many times.
