As usual from Soundbooth Theater, the performances were fantastic. The story was fine, though it takes awhile to get progressing. The humor was groan worthy in most cases, only eliciting a few chuckles from me.
Silly fantasy comedy works best when it’s rooted in good drama, adventure, or horror. This has all three, as much or more than than the 1st book.
Jeff Hayes marry me. I loved the book Narrator is wonderful. I mean the guy is really good. Story line is great as well. Please hurry up with book 6.
it’s insane how much better this book is than defiance of the fall. I made it to book 9 of that poop show. this is even better than He who fights with monsters (going on 1 book to judge, obviously don’t know how this will play out) it has heart and soul and doesn’t spend..
The only complaint with the narrating is when he does stuff like howl but it’s not often. The only complaint about the story is that it’s not clear enough when switching perspectives.
How… how… how? How is each book the best yet? I go through about 4 audiobooks a month over the last 7 or 8 years, and omg, this series is so good. I simultaneously already cannot wait to reread all of them, am sad that I will be caught up, can’t wait for the next..
