Imagine reading Hitchhicker’s Guide when it turns into Running Man or The Hunger Games with the ruleset of D&D. Nothing too original here, but it is a very fun and funny ride. I’m excited for the next one.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book and found the story and narration engaging. Felt like the characters could have been fleshed out a bit more, but I still really liked it.

I’m new to the genre but so thoroughly enjoyed the craziness in this book and the social commentary. Will recommend to others!

The builds like a roller coaster with an interesting cast of characters and story but once it crests the top hold on for a fun and fast ride.

I thought this book was great! I accidentally pre-ordered it thinking it was another DCC book. But it was awesome, very enjoyable, refreshingly different. I’m going in for a second listen this weekend. It’s important that you don’t go into it wanting it to be another DCC book. It’s different and it should be reviewed..

This is my favorite series of all time! It has every type of genre in an action packed, gory, and hilarious thrill ride! I hope they make a live action show and video game! The reader is phenomenal! It’s like listening to a play being acted out
