I can’t get over how much they suck you in with their prodution quality. I will be back for book 2
Amazing narration
Review from An Unexpected Hero →
The performance starts out alright but when the hero gets to a point where the author tries to emphasize how bad the singing is the narrator is not just a tad annoying but I had to skip the chapter all together, I guess he accomplished the goal? The story is a bit common, nothing too..
Very good. Enjoyed it more than 2. It’s on par with the first book. The ending was really well done with this one. So looking forward to book 4. Can’t wait.
The voices are just amazing. Very easily distinguishable from each other. Jeff is just amazing as the mimic. Is he starting to be typecast as a mimic? 😝
The story was weak and slow. 3 hours in and I wasn’t sure I could finish the story. Had a couple funny nods to Zogarth and Shirtaloon, but not worth the audible credit.
I was worried the schtick would get old, but the author knows good comedy need to be a relief from tension, and provides plenty.
So, the story is great. It’s funny, touching, and SO entertaining. The narration is next level though. So much fun to listen to!
I’m looking forward to re-listening to this, but honestly, it’s going to be very different this time around!
I can’t believe I’m saying it, but this is my favorite audiobook series I’ve listened to since Harry Potter. I never thought I’d find another series I was into as much, but this one has done it. This book was just as good as the rest and it appears, from the epilogue, things are about..
