DCC 3 ramps up in the story department, however there were some moments that were a little slow. Great emotional scenes sprinkled in that surprise you.

I’d been warned that I would laugh out loud at many parts of this,while at the same time, enjoy the story and I have to say that was an accurate statement. This was so much fun. Can’t wait to jump into book 2 as soon as possible.

I initially thought the first book was better. This book was dragging with useless banter at times, and also the MC levels and abilities seem mundane compared to the creatures he was facing. But everything recovered nicely at the very end. I decided to try the 3rd book since it’s currently on sale.
