Good story, the audio really brings it to the next level. All the fun! Looking forward to the death arc.
Narration feels strange at first but it comes around and is pretty great. The story is entertaining with plenty of funny moments
Soundbooth Theater knocked it out of the park. Beautiful production. The world is an amazing modern dystopian/noir cityscape. It’s vaguely reminiscent of Shadowrun, and I really dig it. The magic/game system the author built are amazing. There was never an information dump, but it’s obvious the author put a ton of thought into it. I..
The narration took this to a whole new level (duh—Soundbooth Theater is amazing). Well, well worth the listen. Even though I wanna slap Garvis (who doesn’t?), I’d happily listen to his spin-off 🙂
Good listen RPG. Pleasent voice. Good plot. Fun characters and story. Good. Reccomended. Easy to follow.
It’s great book for a quick read and a lot of good modern jokes. cat boy butler/maid was very fun and the pun jokes made it easy to anticipate. It reminds me of overlord with the world underestimating the god killing main character but without the worldbuilding.
the main character is still a dick even at the end. I don’t feel like he had a redemption arc, and was always intolerable to the rest of his party. The ending also moved pretty quickly, would have like to have some clues as to what was happening along the journey. maybe I just missed..
worth the wait and thirsty for more, this is one of the series that got me into litrpg and I am so glad to see it back
