Definitely the most emotional and heartbreaking of the series with a very high climax, extremely curious if future installments can top this one.
Sparkling mix of humor, drama, action and solid characterization. I’ve enjoyed all of the Dungeon Crawler Carl books but this one really stands out.

The story starts off odd but builds and builds! And the voices and sound in the audiobook is amazing, note it’s one guy doing allll the voices!

The whole series is laugh out loud funny, often inappropriatly so, and in the best ways! Once you get over the WTF did I just read shock and ugly tears, especially in the earlier books, the witty banter and slap you in the face comedy are absolute gold! Excellent writing and narration. Well done ♥️
