It is a great story, but I am tired of cringing through it. I pushed through Uzi Jesus, because Donut called him a fake. He said “the G__ d___ rapture,” and I was ashamed that I was still listening. I should have stopped following this a long time ago, and this just makes me regret..

Review from This Inevitable Ruin →
The book’s story is fine. The same sort of silly, ridiculous, mildly immature, but engaging and fun storytelling from the previous two books. I would rate this 5 stars but someone seriously dropped the ball with quality on this one. At multiple points throughout the story Tiana Camacho’s lines cut to several seconds of blank..
Awesome!

Got this as a gift from a friend, so mnow that I write this from a place of wanting to like it. I am not done yet but so far the characters are insufferable. The narrator does not help, somehow he sounds like someone trying to use a Joe swanson meets military man voice. Sounds..
Awesome fun

I can’t stand audiobooks. They’re convenient, but the narrators always ruin the story in my opinion. Jeff Hays is the exception though. DCC is great (horrific, funny, and creative), but it’s really Hays that keeps me addicted to this series. His range is outstanding–it honestly sounds like multiple voice actors–and he brings some added emotion..
