I’m loving this series and just bought the physical copy of the third book to read next. This series is exactly what I’ve been looking for as someone who has always loved video games in this style
Honestly, just buy something else unless you are easily entertained. Of the multiple hundreds of lirpgs I have listened to this is in the bottom third.

Such an awesome book. Funny without being contrived, poignant, and filled with incredibly lush detail and characters.
I’m grateful the author did a “recently in history” to start this book. I forgot some details from previous books, so it’s greatly appreciated. This book felt like this started slow, but it’s necessary to build the second half. important details. so glad that the author didn’t make invincible characters. it’s always world building and..
