OH MY GOD! THIS BOOK IS AMAZING. THE SERIES SHOULD BE TOP OF THE NYT BESTSELLER LIST. THOSE DAMN TWILIGHT NOVELS WERE FOREVER AND THEY WERE JUST AWFUL. LIKE COCKER SPANIELS. NARRATOR IS MY FAVORITE PART.
Despite being charmed to death by the first book, I was worried that the 2nd book would lose me because of the genre (I’m a lady surgeon that last played video games on an Atari) intended audience be damned- this book is a blast no matter what you normally read.
I liked the story and most of the legitimate humor but the gratuitous foul language is just too much. I get it, you can use cuss words. Very nice. But after middle school it stops being as funny.
