Title says it all. It starts being filled with drama and the human characters are billions of times worse than the monsters they condemn. I wanted the ant adventure not humans being completely twisted drama. What is up with the tone flip?
I read this because of one of the other reviews comparing it to Dungeon Crawler Carl. This is nowhere near DCC. If you like books where there are hardly any conversations, then this is the book for you. Jeff Hayes was amazing as always and is what makes this more interesting to listen to.

If you like cats, D&D, playing video games, or just well-written stories, this one is for you. Hilarious, incredible characters, and surprisingly poignant scenes. I can’t say enough good things about this book. A must read.

Seriously one of my favorite series, the author has so much going on in every direction at all times that you can never predict where it’s headed. Fantastic humor and cannot wait for the next book.

I’m not the biggest fan of card based stories but the choice of narrator pushed me to try it. I’m so glad I did because the noir style anti hero was exactly what I needed an. The narration was perfect and I highly recommend this story
Ill start off by saying I hated the shit puns voice and how the voice actors forced a fake laugh at every bad joke instead of narrating the laughter of the character and moving on. Inter character relationships and development of those relationships was BAD! I’ve listened to production styles similar in the past but..
