Enjoyed the voice acting and the change of perspective to a monster protagonist. Interesting RPG system.

Thoroughly entertaining. The creativity of the story writing is equally matched (at least) by the performance of the narrator.

Chapter 109: “having your brain start to itch is less pleasant than it sounds” a brain doesn’t have nerve endings. It can’t itch.

a little annoying to have random spell recipes recited in the middle of a fight sequence. takes some getting used to, but a good story. I look forward to book 2.

I just finished the the series for the 3rd time. This is not my normal listening type, it is really engaging and fun. I can’t wait for book 7!

This one felt just a little overlong, but still another book in the series! My husband and I are totally in for book 6!
