I heard so many recommendations for this book that I had to give it a shot. I don’t usually like a lot of comedy in my fantasy novels, but I really enjoyed the witty banter in this one! I’m definitely hooked, and I just bought the rest of the series!

Jeff Hayes does an amazing job of bringing this Kerberos story to life. Highly recommended!

books 1 to 4 are all fire! I’m on 5 and I’m not sure how I feel about it so far, the power levels are kind of all over the place and rn and it isn’t really drawing me in yet.

The story doesn’t take itself too seriously. I can’t remember the last time a book made me laugh out loud. I was in public. it was embarrassing.

Reminds me so much of the chaotic and hilarious game Borderlands. A great reprieve from all the serious and dramatic books.
