Interesting premise spoiled by a terrible MC who is 100% unlikeable AND who makes one bone headed decision after another. I quit in chapter 8. LITRPG is such a great genre but seems to attract the very worst writers. Matt Dinneman being the clear exception. It’s a shame.
These just keep getting better. I hope he goes all the way to floor 18.

Brilliant, one of the best books I’ve experienced.. you will not regret buying this. Especially if you are a cat person who loves video games. You’d probably like it if you don’t like cats too though.

The world Matt Dinniman created is fantastic and unique. The narration from Jeff Hays is out of this world. As someone who is picky with narrators, he is on a completely different level. Simply fantastic. Every voice he uses is creative and unique, and often times hilarious. 10/10.

Well performed by multiple narrators and made the book a lot more engaging. I’m about to buy the second one. A lot of fun fantasy violence, and nonsense. Nothing to really grotesque and nothing spicy. I will read the series and I will read the same book again.
