I fear Matt has set the standard for what I look for in Lit RPG the blend of ratcheting stakes while fulfilling plot lines while leaving just enough suspense to make you want to explode in anticipation while also curling your toes in dread for what’ll happen next is simply something I think other stories..

If you’re just tired after work or something, this book works like a charm. Nothing too complicated, just a straight plotline with crazy stuff going on to unload your mind.
Thoroughly enjoying this series, this is my second go around. I find it a serious delight when re listening to a book is not only satisfying, but you can start to see the hints and pieces of what’s to come. It’s wonderful to see that the author had ideas that get put into play sometimes..
