Jeff Hays is magnificent. His rendition of a woman’s voice is staggering. The story gets going well enough and is intriguing, but the pace is slow and the events repetitious. One soon gets bored only to have a sudden ending, expecting more. You are left totally in the air. Clearly the author felt the need..

I know the whole series is shock-fiction but starting here, Matt starts sacrificing an enjoyable story just to make sure that it’s gross and offensive. Which is a shame. I was enjoying the series quite a bit until this one.
