why does juniors narrator sound like leave it to beaver? All the narration would be hilarious if I didn’t pay for it. please someone seriously explain why the unbelievable narration

love the story. there was a few missed opportunities. a little background music and a little singing during the goblins escaping the kobalds and maybe a little more explanation about how the goblins over to the beat and struck out or how their feet started pumping with the rhythm. could of made that scene so..
this book is amazing, but it needs to come with a serious warning. once you reach the part with the god of chaos, make sure you are not eating. if you are eating while listening to that part, there is a 50% chance you’ll laugh so hard you’ll choke to death
I throughly enjoyed the narration (though Carl’s voice did take me a while to get used to) and the story is so entertaining/laugh inducing that my entire family has now listened to the first 6 books. We Love them so much that we have created custom household items with memes from the books!
must have been expensive but it was an awesome decision to pull in both narrators. the book was solid and I will be looking forward to getting the next.

Despite being a bit weird it’s an amazing story. Takes a little bit of time to get use to but it’s worth it. I love everything about this book series.

For how much I enjoyed the first one I almost didn’t get the second. Only 9 hrs is pretty short for what im looking for and to find out 1.5 hour at least of slow inaccurate card info dump reading, making it a 7.5 hr book. I wouldn’t have gotten it for that, the story..
Amazing story, amazing progression, every time you think you know what is going to happen next, guess again. Matt Dinnaman caught lightning in a bottle with DCC. Jeff Hays cannot be lauded enough for his performance. Experiencing this series without the audio is doing yourself a disservice.
