Enjoyed the early parts of the story, but it really turned into a slog midway through. There feels like three whole chapters devoted to torture scenes late, just too drawn out and unpleasant. Was glad when it was done. Won’t be coming back for more.
This is hilarious from beginning to end. I can’t wait to start on the next book.

The story is so compelling and the reader is phenomenal! And I love the fun sounds effects they do with sound booth theater. It all adds to the experience.
other books were much better. story far too contrived to be close to make logical sense. l hope next one is better. you can skip this book in the series as it changes nothing.
This is the best version of “I’m a monster Isekai” I’ve read and that was mostly due to the dialogue which is funny and engaging even though the main character is alone for most of the first book. The voice actor really punches it up making every event exciting and grin worthy.
Can’t put these books down, it’s been in my headphones everyday for a week, new favorite
