Absolutely one of my favorite series. I have binged every book one after the other.

Review from The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook →
this series is all ways a good listen too but felt like it was rushed a bit in parts that could have spread out more but besides that 5/5 overall 5/5 by the voice actors and 4.7/5 for the stort
The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook hit all the marks you’ve been wanting for in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. Humor. Action. Crazy bad guys. Messed up scenarios. Donut is well, Donut. New characters are introduced that will have you laughing out loud. Great stuff again. DRmz 6-19-24
Book 2 took a slight, and I do mean slight, bump down compared to book 1. The action is still there. The humor also. It’s just that book 1 was so good, impossible to continue that high from book to book. Still, Carl’s Doomsday Scenario was a good follow up. Fantastic series so far. DRmz..
the overall story is amusing and is not terrible. Justin Thomas James is too cartoony and overacting. when he’s just talking, he’s great. but he’s either yelling or his voices have unreasonable excess to them when doing voices.
A thrilling tale of determination, found family, and selflessness. My only wish is that the supporting cast were introduced sooner. The colony has such a great dynamic, and each character throughout shines when put in the spotlight.
Really fun and engaging story…even better than usual! Exciting as usual but “the Eldest” is even funnier than usual to me. Great installment and unsurprisingly can’t wait till the next one of course! 😉😄
It wasn’t bad, by any means, but my attention simply wasn’t held the way it was with similar titles. Neither the writing nor the performances were bad. I suspect that liking tabletop or even video game RPGs just a bit more would make this a win for me. It’s definitely made for that demographic.
amazing narration of a funny witty silly stupid gorey ridiculously fun and crude adventure. I can’t wait to listen to more and I can’t believe all the voices were one narrator
