All of these books are great, and the audiobooks are of the highest quality. I can’t wait for the next one.
The beginning of this book involves our protagonist’s attempt to get crafting materials from a nearby hobgoblin city. This requires the usual MMORPG series of chained quests, which work out about as you might expect. These are done pretty well, with decent underlying logic and an interesting set of complications. In the ending, the conflict..
I thought, overall, it was a decent story. Every time the warlock shifted time it seemed like cut and paste. It appeared like Shami couldn’t credit her audience with the intelligence to understand that …and he shifted… meant he went back in time. Also, the characters, seemed to be somewhat bipolar. First they were calm..
absolutely insane from start to finish, only left me wanting more. literally screaming crying and throwing up because I have to wait a year for the next one.
This was a fabulously produced audiobook – I really enjoyed the characters and the action packed plot.
Jeff Hays once again proves his range in yet another masterpiece in this series. I re-listen to this series over and over, and still am in wonder at how each character has a unique, recognizable voice.
Another awesome book on the DDC universe. Jeff Hays has once again knocked it pit the park! It’s interesting how Matt has ended some story arcs and added so many new story arcs that are just beginning. With the character development mostly completed it’s going to get very interesting as the series continues. Now Matt…get..
One of Jeff’s best readings, even more captivating than the last few books. Pace of the book is great and is enthralling from beginning to end.
OMG! I read the book when it was released on Amazon then just finished listening to the audio on Audible. The ad libs from Jeff made this version so much better.
