I am enjoying the change that the characters are undergoing as the story progresses, on their own and in their relationship to the other characters. I am not usually a fan of LIT RPG but the characters in this story have more substance. Looking forward to the next installment in this series.

that aside, Having read one of his other series before I knew about this one, it is clear this was an earlier novel. Taking that into account, it was good and I will be continuing the series.

a friend shown me this series a while back and I recently bought the first book to listen to at work. Carl and the cat have the best banter and their adventure is like your playing a game.
