I found this set of book hard to finish. Characters were good, story premise was good. I wish there was more action. It felt like I was always waiting for something. Action only really culminated in the last few chapters of each of the 3 books.

Excellent story telling, its like an audio drama but a book. Voice reader does an excellent job using tone and voice to allow the listener to feel the story.

This was a good good book! Throughly enjoyed. Nice concept, good story telling, good teaching. Not for kids, as it has a like 2 curse words and the initial part of him wanting to be with a prostitute, although handled well and modestly, would be a but too much. Its a quick read, the story..

it was i about a warrior who just went around killing demons …. this book reminds me of that game.
This is so far the absolutely most perfect series I have EVER read. I finish reading the book and I then listen to it. I love Princess Donut. And how much Carl and her care about each other as well as the other crawlers and even the NPCs. The author has amazing story telling skills.
as always astounding work by the whole cast, Great background sounds at the right times and singing. unexpectedly amazing singing. if you like Drama, Loss, Mystery, Crazy characters and twists and turns start at book one and get to the epilogue of this one. then get the next one. An absolute necessity series I have..

This book made me laugh and it made me cry. I absolutely love this series, and this book was one of the best so far.
It’s prose isn’t going to win any awards but this series continues to at least keep me interested. I’m not about to recommend it without a bunch of caveats but it dumb fun. Somehow better then the sim of its parts.
