First installment of my new addiction. This series is a must-read. And Hays is one of the best narrators I’ve ever heard.
Lot of funny parts but also a lot of stress with things getting worse and worse and impossible so I started feeling hopeless about future books and that the good guys might come out on top.
The storyline is fantastic before you even add in the narrating stylings of Jeff Hays. Both of them combined make this audio book out of this world! Carl reminds me of Patrick Warburton, and I absolutely love Princess Donut’s sassiness. I honestly couldn’t believe all of the voices were 1 person when I first started..
