I laughed out loud throughout this book. The writing mixed with the superb narration of Jeff Hayes was excellent. It didn’t even matter that the Iron Tangle was incomprehensible.

New narration and sound effects aren’t better or worse, just different and will need getting used to. still enjoy the series so not a deal breaker.

The story has a number of good points. The overarching concepts had tons of potential and were, broadly at least, well executed. The MC’s mental trauma in particular was well done. 10/10 book had me rolling a few times then crying the next I really bonded with every character I look forward to the next book

The main character is a powerhouse, nothing can really scratch him, and I believe they have made his personality fit this role very well.

Another great entry in DCC. All the characters are becoming even more fleshed out and the plot is reaching new heights. Starting the next book now!

Fun the listen to an immersive RPG! It’s like playing a video game with fun characters. Glurp glurp!

This is a good story but the narrator makes it epic. Jeff Hays was the best choice for this type of story. Nick Pohdel is my favorite narrator but I don’t think he could do this story.
