Al the series is five stars but this book is just the best. I am on my second listen this is just addictive.
I have never laughed as hard as I have when the part with Raoul and Alpha Carl came up. Splendid work by Jeff Hays for the narration through and through.
It’s been a couple of months since I read book #3, so I had to shake out the rust and remember that they had been on the train level when it ended, and this one picks up right where he left off. The train one was exhausting, but it was good, but my favorite is..
Not up to normal standards. Expected a better executed story line. May be time to move on to a different writer. Bummer I was enjoying this story.
The first book starts off slow, but Cassius and Tang jump straight into this one and quickly add to the world building and plot. And oh man, don’t forget the amazing voice cast!
The Initial world building and character introduction is a bit on the slow side but man when the book finally gets going it is FANTASTIC!
I enjoyed it overall but the dialogue makes me think the authors have never had a human conversation before and made me cringe a few times. Also, do we really need a whole side plot devoted to a bath? Half of an entire chapter is devoted to just that and it felt like a filler..
