I love how this entry of the dcc series brings so many of the characters and plot lines back together.
This entry in the series adds some new world building outside the dungeon. More drama and high stakes for the characters. I’m betting it’s gets even better with the next one.
It’s incredible I haven’t listen to a series this fast in a long time. I usually have to take a break but I’m too hooked.
Quick intro. Great characters. Catches your attention right away. I’ve never read a litrpg before. This book has now opened a whole new genre for me. Great job Matt

Audio narration is literally as good as it comes. Probably as good as a full cast. Characters are good, and the humor is fantastic. Just gets too bogged down in the rpg elements for my tastes but if you enjoy that part of this genre then you’ll love it.

The entire novel is about the protag just telling lies, and the narrator building up how it’s going to come crumbling down. After 8+ hours of it, YES WE GET IT. He lies a lot and does not embrace reality. It’s not subtle, and it was so tiresome I couldn’t be bothered to finish the..
this guy knows exactly what I like and jeff haze is the most amazing narrator giving live and consistency to characters
