Positives: – Jeff Hays is a cake addicted mimic… I honestly don’t think more needs to be said. – New characters are introduced without it feeling overwhelming. – Power progression is pretty good if a little vague, its not your standard I have 1 OP skill that makes me the strongest in the land story..

It took me longer than I thought to finish this series. But it was definitely worth it. An expected and sad, but ultimately, satisfying conclusion to our Shadow Lord’s long struggle. On to the next story! Shadow crap…what am I going to listen to next?!

If you’re looking at this then you know. It’s amazing series, with amazing voice actors. Only thing that surprises me is how the author hasn’t had any dip in quality in any of their books in this series.

The narration is amazing. It’s very immersive. You’ll enjoy it, it makes you feel as if you’re a crawler in Carl’s party. Pick this up and enjoy yourself.

Loved the support and voice cast. The editing makes the book sound like I have a show on in the background.

I love how they do the voice for Chester and most of the casts, but I feel like it’s just a repeating story of the first one. I like the story though. I feel like it would improve if Chester did impressions and actually did some more mimicry instead of abomination versions of things.

this book, #2 in the Dungeon Carl series, and book #1 is amazing. keeps you tuned in the entire time. been listening for 7 days, and about to purchase book #3. look past the name, and just listen. you won’t regret it. Princess Doughnut for prez 2024
