Holy crap this was a great book. There was so much going on. I loved it. I honestly thought this was the last book but I’m glad it’s not.
I don’t normally listen to books like this… rpg style, sort of like Ready Player One, which I enjoyed. I typically hover between non fiction, dramas, occasional fantasy, love stories and educational titles. Once in a while, I just want a fast moving, outrageous and attention getting story and this one fit the bill. Hilarious!..
I recently started listening to this series and fell in love with the absurdist comedy, but this book in the series really hit me in the feels! I continue to be impressed by the writer and narrator, and how they continue to elevate this series with every release.
I felt like narration the person who is near it sucked. I like Jeff Hayes but then there was awful. I felt like the story was slow. And the system was born. The main character was also born. Everything about this book was boring except for Chester.
Love the voice acting performance, incredible. Pacing was good and I was done with the book before I knew it. Characters are written well enough to relate to, but even major characters feel a bit shallow or rushed to develop. Setting is believable and easy to immerse into. I particularly enjoyed the implementation of game..
everything I loved everything in this book series narration was on point and really brought this book to life main character was not overly broken plot did a good job all the characters felt really well done fuzzy the bear brought your readers in perfect books so far bummed it seems the series has been..
If a cat person with a foot fetish was streaming Baldurs Gate 3 but it was more like a Rick and Morty episode, also it was a hilarious book… this would be it. 10/10
love the storytelling I love how it is narrated. the characters are all funny and story just hooks you in can’t wait for the next book
this book was a great continuation of the first. the characters felt like they were truly growing not just a stagnant bunch of npcs. Soundbooth once again did a wonderful job with the narration
