Okay, so sometimes the pacing isn’t perfect and I do get a little teensy bit bored in the middle of the stories. but it’s awesome commentary that always pulls me through, and goodness! Matt writes an amazing satisfying conclusion to each of these books.
as usual this series delivers. we came for the laughs but Matt’s got some good storytelling technique. I love how each book always ends with Carl doing some huge declaration and then delivering in the next book. we come for the humor. but it’s awesome storytelling that makes us stay.
I thought as a whole the story in this one was great. got to see a bit more about the legion, learn more about the dungeon and by the ending it lays out a cool semi ne growth path for anthony so it doesn’t feel like that aspect will get stale. my only gripe and..

Fantastic performance with a good hero that isn’t too over the top or OP. It’s worth checking out something a bit different if you’re thinking about it.
It was almost impossible for me to figure out where they were at most points of the story. But it’s amazing to me that that was true, AND it was an incredible mystery, adventure, and hilarity all wrapped up in one, shiny, fan box.
