This book could be, “This horny book is pretty interesting.” Instead, we got, “Man, I wish I could be that old man. And DAMN, this book is horny.

This book has Carl digging himself some pretty deep holes and conquering new and interesting challenges. He continues to be a kickass leader and the very end of the audio has some great surprises focused on what’s happening on Earth’s surface.

As the title states, Carl ends up with a cookbook that puts a fantastic twist on things. i love following this guy as he levels up, says true to his morals, and sticks it to the bad guys.

The first book was awesome. the second is even better. This is shaping up to be a spectacular series.

So much fun! I love Carl and Donut and am just breezing through this series. These books would make a great tv show if it was ever adapted. And the audiobook is fantastic like always!

I feel that the author does a great job at continuing to add story depth, new characters types, while keeping your mind wondering how things are going to actually turn out. Great addition to the already existing storyline.
