Loved every bit! Been binge-listening since book 1, and cannot wait for the next. Highly recommend for fans of Dungeon Crawler Carl series.
Has a super good premise. The only problem is the mimic is just slightly annoying. You can get over that begin the story. Man story to go so many places, but it went the whole damsel in distress retards trying to save them. Yeah no not Manama cavity have fun guys but now now
This is easily one of the funnest books I’ve read in a while. if you’ve ever played RPG’s, video games or both, these books give you just what you know and enjoy. Action, adventure, and gore along with well deserved bathroom breaks! Highly suggested reading.
The series continues to impress. I like that this series seems to have a definitive goal and we’re making progress toward it. So many LitRPGs seem to be open-ended level-up fests with no real discernable objective… maybe other than becoming a god, or some such toss.
LitRPG has been a mixed bag for me. This was a gem of a find, and well worth the time and credit. I originally grabbed it because it just looked different (and the genre was beginning to feel repetitive). This proved to be everything I like about LitRPG, and as of book 4, it looks..
Reader is great; compliments an amazing story perfectly. I think the audio version of this series suits it very well
while initially I felt this book was going to be a simple gaming type book, I was pleasantly surprised with the complexity as the book progressed. Plenty of hilarious pop culture references along with plot twists I didn’t see coming but which did make perfect sense. The performer was brilliant — “God Dammit Donut” will..
I loved the character development and the story progression. I really get into the story and the characters
The blatant gender politics issues really interrupted the story and took away all momentum, they felt very forced and added nothing to the story.
