This was a fun read. Nice change on Fantasy. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun adventure book.
This is Hunger Games, meets Dungeons and Dragons, meets the AI from Portal with an increased sex drive and it’s amazing. I can’t wait to start the next book but I’m trying to pace myself.
This is the definition of easy listening. If you’re looking for something where the good guys win, plot armor saves the day, and a voice cast that is laying it on thick, then this is your thang. Make no bones about it, this was a fun easygoing couple of hours.

Another amazing chapter in the crawl of Carl and Donut. Each book constantly elevates and surprises the listener as they keep outgoing themselves. and Patrick Warburton was amazing! We need more of him in these stories!
Love this series! The character development and expansive plot are very well done. And the narration for the series is amazing. They should just take the audio from the series and turn it into an animated TV show!
Even with some sound effects and four narrators, this failed to draw me in.
