I read the book a year or so ago on recommendation. I read the test of the available books at the time and then kind of forgot about it. Recently the same person who made the initial suggestion said the audio book was even better so I got the free audible trial. Did. Not. Dissapoint.

Another great installation of the series. Carl kicks butt and does it with a wild style that you will really enjoy.
it was hard to finish for me. this team banter is AWFUL, especially the Freya character. and this guy Nate is supposed to have been here done this, but they’re not even doing things with the changing story plot. I know that he has to level up and get stronger, but having done it before..
I am honestly shocked how bad both book 1 and 2 are. This series has so much popularity despite being so poor compared to “Defiance of the fall”. “Monster hunter” and “The Primal hunter” it’s not even funny. Series that are super unpopular like “ Death Genesis” are twice more interesting and entertaining than this…
Story was meh, sex was meh, but it was entertaining to listen to something with a more adult theme. Can’t wait for dive gear, lol.

I’ve been listening to this trilogy once a year for 4 years, each book has a a satisfying ending, and the whole series concludes well. 10/10, 5/5, 2 thumbs up, whatever you need to see for a recommendation to hit, that’s what this says.
