the story is good with a very well put together universe. was going to give 3-4 stars because of the forced crossdressing/gender is fluid stuff. but then lo and behold, the dwarves are proud “communists”, live really wtf, such a concept doesn’t even exist in a non modern era universe, such woke garbage that ruined..

Gamer cat lady here, so I was giddy about the dynamic duo of Carl and Princess Donut. This was a book I couldn’t stop listening to, it’s entertaining, has familiar gaming, sci-fi, and fantasy elements, and the narration was excellent. I’m excited to continue reading this series!
The characters are captivating, the main characters backstory was extremely well written, and the fight scenes are fantastic impatiently awaiting the next books also is animated series or anime a possibility cuz one viewer here dying to watch! And please keep the current voice actor he really brings out and compliments your characters and makes..
I swear every book is better than the one before. Carl and Donut are EPIC and so much fun. This one has tons of adventure, laughter, and some excellent drama and plot twists. I cannot get enough! The audio is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!
