The unique voices Jeff Hays delivers combined with the sound effects & music are spectacular. I am so spoiled by the many voices of this voice actor. The story itself is bizarrely out there taking you through the full range of emotions from laughter to horrified to absolute glee.
Extreme deft interweaving of fantasy elements into a tale of frontier justice and revenge. I will be watching for the next installment with anticipation.
Not the type of book I usually read but am I glad my daughter talked me into it. It has a readable story with lovable character that are also very funny. Am on to Book Two!

This was a fun listen. I use headphones when listening so I get some shocked looks and sometimes glares when I laugh out loud all of a sudden. 🤣
Yes it follows the common tropes you’d expect, but it’s still so good. it’s crazy, exciting, anxiety-ridden fun. the stakes are always climbing, but Carl and Donut are right there ready to Carl it up.
Amazing book, does everything the first book did and better. Very very funny book, lots of good action scenes/scenarios
