Such a good time. Needed to listen to a few parts over again because a lot was going on but totally worth it. I’ll definitely relisten.
Didn’t have the highest of the expectations, although I enjoy the science fiction genre, usually the world building gets so intense that I have a hard time following along with all the characters, monsters, etc. This particular book and hopefully the series itself- do a fantastic job of tying what I know is “real world”..
The story was intriguing and really made it hard to put down. I loved the main character Carl and his trusty cat Doughnut.
I absolutely love this series and recommend it to everyone, even though I doubt I’m the intended audience. I’ve never played a video game, and I’m old enough to collect Social Security and join AARP. When I started reading “Dungeon Crawler Carl,” I encountered unfamiliar terms like NPC, buff, debuff, and boss battle. However, now..
The story its off plain ugh and then goes bonkers fast. The overall world d is fantastic, the Performance is very good, and it makes for an Excellent diversion, and leaves yo wanting to dive right in to the next volume.
What an adventure! This book is so fun, and hilarious at times. I loved it and cannot wait to read the second book in the series.
The performance for this one is stellar!! Very easy to follow and very unique story. It feels very dungeon and dragons meets the matrix meets a video game
