Review from The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook →
The main character being a mimic is original and entertaining but I’m only a bit in and the repetitiveness is already grating on my nerves.
Overall I very much enjoyed this listen, I did find myself skipping a little bit due to over description of area, environment etc. this may be just a quirk of mine.
DCC is always a hit! So good every time with more absurd monsters and challenges. Keeps the reader on their toes. 5/5 recommend!
I’m still enjoying the series, but this book seemed to lack depth. Not much character development or intrigue.
To be fair, J.T.J laugh got me almost every time. I loved the story though. I thought it was well done.
was a great series. until they went too far with religion. I don’t like the cursing but I got through that. then they went too far
I purchased this cause of Sound Booth Theater and I couldn’t help be pleased. the puns and Anthony make for a very sarcastic type of booth but has some soul to it.
it’s like the Doctor and Ainz Ooal Gown (Overlord) fused and was cursed to subject us all to good/bad puns. great start to the series can’t wait to try the cookie Recipe! JTJ once again Kills it .. ..get it???? KILLS IT????? ….you should never have to explain word play. Dorrie Sacks Needs to get..
