PRINCESS DONUT
Review from Dungeon Crawler Carl →
yes it’s fantasy , but I was surprised by the humor, especially the back and forth with a certain talking device
Completely blew every other audiobook I’ve listened to out of the water. Amazing story and narration.
This is a great fun read. It feels like a wild west gunslinger story first and foremost. The magic elements are not exactly shoehorned in but they seem to be limited to combat. Otherwise I suspect the tone of the book would have gone total fantasy + guns. It’s worth a try if you want..
I don’t know how one gets to book seven and would have anything negative to say, unless Matt does something really stupid. Carl and Donut keep playing the game, while things get hilariously more chaotic and weird. It has that fantastic charm of also pulling on heart strings and growing that fire in a heart..
This is simultaneously hilarious, and heartfelt. I feel like this story rides the blade of humanity and the devolution of it. The character development makes my heart warm, but it also breaks it to see the characters be driven to their edge. I love this series so much. It’s one of my favorites. I love..
absolutely love this whole seris one book a year is not enuff it’s one of the best that I have listened to
I don’t usually write reviews, but this book as so darn good I had to. Out of all the books, this one is an absolute masterpiece of audiobook art. The story, the flow, the narration, the sound fx… all of it was on point. Matt Dinniman truly outdid himself with the writing in this book…
I’m a HUGE Dresden fan, mostly because of the great narration. If that’s you, you will LOVE this series. I could go on, but I won’t. Just try it
