I cannot get enough of this series and this audio production. It is absolute perfection and I cannot recommend it enough!
Honestly the hands down best series I’ve ever stumbled into. Matt and Jeff are amazing and I can’t stop recommending the series to people, even when they’ve told me to stop trying cause they heard the pitch already.
Another great addition to the series, though it lacked a bit of the memorable gut-wrenching scenes I’ve come to expect from this series. Definitely plenty of excitement throughout, but I’m hard-pressed to recall many scenes that had the same emotional impact of any previous novels. Perfect narration, as always.
Matt Dinniman is so brilliant and talented. This series is his magnum opus!!! His style is so refreshing and he’s constantly redefining the standard of LitRPG. His storytelling only gets better with each passing book. This one is the best one yet!! Jeff Hays brings to life the characters in this book in ways NO..
dungeon crawler carl is the best. amazing audio as always. can’t wait for the next one. how about you release the audio at the same time next time?
This is it, this whole series really, but perhaps this book in particular. First off, the production blows every single other audio book I’ve ever listened to out of the water, it’s incredible. The thing about this book is, it is a really well written drama. The problem is, for all the build up for this big battle floor, it reads more as a drama than an action adventure. The second problem, it lacks Carl. Sure he is there, lending the story his voice, but he is sort..
The voice acting is incredible. The story is hilarious. I love listening to this on the way to and from work every morning.
Story really catches me, it’s easy and engaging. I don’t have to sit and ponder anything, it’s popcorn fiction and it’s great. I really do enjoy the leveling aspect a lot; in the beginning you get stat blocks pretty frequently which is fine because Anthony isn’t that strong yet, but it gets phased out more..
