I read the book twice before the audiobook dropped last week. Finally finished listening to it tonight, and now I’m about to re-listen to it. Can’t stop won’t stop.

For me, the series is getting a little convoluted. Too many characters to keep track of. The thing that has bothered me the most is all the screaming. never fails to deliver great entry into the series and can’t wait for it to continue

Hilarious and fun. Great story and it keeps getting better. You sometimes see a drop off with lengthy stories after a few books but this keeps surprising and upping the ante!

Part over the top shenanigans, part heart wrenching drama, all fun DCC is a blast. The stakes keep getting higher and Carl, Doughnut, and the rest of the Princess Posse keep getting in deeper. I can’t explain how much I truly adore this whole series. Character arcs, imagery, story, execution, whimsy are all 10/10

Great job. Great story. I’m gonna listen to it again. Matt D. is not a lazy writer no matter what everyone says. And Jeff Hays (the dude who does all the voices) is incredible – he might be lazy because he doesn’t also do all the sound effects but other than that he’s F’ing amazing.

A narrator like none other – and an insane and enjoyable story. What’s lot to love?

This book wore me out over the course of several nights. I was so engrossed I had to force myself to stop listening and go to sleep. It has lots of “grand scheme” action, but it also has plenty of intimate moments with the characters. I’m ready for the next book, Mr. Dinniman!!
