Review from This Inevitable Ruin →
When I was told about this book it sounded interesting, but I had no idea it would be this well done. As a pre-fatherhood gamer, video and D&D, this is exactly what I needed. I’ve never had a book that I truly couldn’t put down.
Narrator: top classStory: definitely not for me. The humor didn’t hit, even once. I was bored to death.
going to be brief: the quest voice actor both had bad audio quality, and didn’t do a good job. I found myself happy with his character died. the tangle was super confusing for like the first 2/3 of the book, and even by the end I found myself somewhere between not caring and slightly understanding..
Love this story. Addicting. I keep finding things to do so I have an excuse to keep listening. Funny, interesting, and a great story. One of my favorite stories yet. Going to be sad when this series ends. Can’t imagine a book series being better than this. What will I read next?? I think there’s..
Love love loved it! The narrator is absolutely phenomenal and makes the experience so much better. It’s been so interesting to see how the main characters are learning and growing and just trying to figure out how to survive. I can’t wait to continue
It’s…fine. It’s just video game written as a book. There’s no sense of rising tension/climax, just continuous skill gains of the main characters. The humor’s pretty bad and cringe, so it wasn’t really for me.I don’t think I could have finished it if the narrator wasn’t so good. That was pretty much the only positive..
loved the complexity of this floor with all the train lines and the increased interaction with other crawlers and groups
