Went in with 0 expectations, which was a mistake, and came out with one of my new core listens. I will be picking up ever other book in this series asap
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this one. I knew nothing about the series; a friend had recommended it. The story was a total blast. Good pacing and extremely creative. Sure, there were some ideas that might’ve been subtly incorporated from different movie and video game franchises, but it never felt derivative…
I cant tell you how many times ive thought that to myself during this book.

This book is hilarious. Matt has written a series that will last. I can’t remember laughing so hard while listening to a book. The voice actors are amazing, they brought the characters to life. Well done!!!
Book 3 I’ve always heard is a make or break for people as the story begins to become more serious and the writing becomes more intense. Despite this, I loved every second. Fantastic listen and even better narration. Thank you for such an enjoyable time
I binged listened to all of these books within 3 weeks! They were that good. Funny and entertaining and epic! Definitely one of my favorite series
