This series somehow remains amazing with ample character development, tolerable drama, clever twists, memorable fights and scenes, and random wackiness with a growing universe that has me scratching my head as to how Dinniman hasn’t written a bad book in this long running series yet. Terrific series devoid of overused tropes!
Honestly Boxy is a fantastic character and it was a lot of fun listening to it develop from a stupid box to a still stupid murder machine. it will be interesting to see where this goes.
Brilliant and well worth the read, even if you don’t have a lot of experience with RPGs there is enough other cultural jokes in there to keep it relevant. More than anything tho, Carl’s love for humanity shines through. It humanizes the book perfectly and makes Carl worth rooting for.
Well written and acted! Fully recommend for those with a mind for fiction. Please download!

If you like litrpg this serious is a must read. It has everything humor horror science religion politics. Characters are well developed and compelling, the story is original, clever you won’t see a lot of the plot twists coming.
