This book is the literary equivalent of a child’s drawing. First of all, it is UNBELIEVABLY REPETITIVE. Reading is more passive than playing an RPG, which is what this genre is supposed to be (LitRPG). Duke Nukem meets Borderlands meets Hitchhiker’s Guide and more. There are dozens of games and movies that likely serve as inspiration for this book in all the best ways. Absolutely loved it, and the narration is beyond top notch. Can’t wait to get the next one!
