Rough start but worth it

Like many LitRPGs, the first few setup chapters are rough. If you make it past the 1st floor, however, the book becomes much more enjoyable. This isn’t simply happy violence… it actually reflects on itself in a meaningful way that I really appreciated.

I am not really in to dungeon core books but this one made me a believer!!! So many different Litrpg themes and elements that were creatively integrated that had a lil something for everyone. Loved Vex of course and can’t wait for the next book so hurry up on that please!! lol

Book felt very mechanical in narrating every step taken by the lead character which can get tedious. Some listeners were comparing it to ready player one, that and the humor in the sample got me to give it a chance.
