I was initially hesitant because these RPG type books are not really my genre, but after it picks up I can’t stop listening. It’s honestly become one of my most favorite series ever. Once you get past the oddities and get into the story, you will love it. Can’t wait for more!

Wonderfully-acted, interesting worlds and intersecting stories. The protagonists reactions and thoughts, as well as her actions, make sense, even (and perhaps, especially) when their at odds with her intentions and judgement, which is a fun and challenging story element.

Love this series!! It gets more hilarious as the books go on, plus this audio book is so well acted. The voice actors are absolutely perfect

First, Jeff Hays is by far my favorite male narrator to grace my ear holes. Second, Matt Dinniman is my favorite male writer I have ever read. It’s dripping with adventure, peril, and punchlines. I’m in a better mood every time a read a piece of this book.

I don’t usually listen to audio books and have a difficult time focusing whilst going about my day…but this held my attention the entire time!! The book itself is 10/10 but the narrator made it even better. Highly, highly recommend

When I was told about this book it sounded interesting, but I had no idea it would be this well done. As a pre-fatherhood gamer, video and D&D, this is exactly what I needed. I’ve never had a book that I truly couldn’t put down.

Narrator: top classStory: definitely not for me. The humor didn’t hit, even once. I was bored to death.
