At first I was not sure how I felt about this book. But as it went along it really grew on me. I like the banter between the characters and the character growth. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

This book as a great example of xp in a non game environment. The character shows a great struggle for good and evil tendencies without being outlandish to either degree. The relationships are developed and strong, not just out of the blue. He’s realistic on the unrealistic universe. Highly recommend

Achievement received!!! You Read another book!!! I liked Carl 2 better than Carl 1 and looking forward to the adventures of Carl and Donut.

I had to leave a review because omg this was absolutely amazing. Everything in this book was just top tier, the performance, story, characters. The characters grew on me and felt so relatable. I really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to continuing the series. I even got my friend hooked too!

There is so much payoff in this book. I re-listen to the entire series again just to enjoy all the moments that the first four books built too. Thank you Matt Dinniman for writing and thank you Jeff Hays for magnificent performance!

I loved the voice over and the story overall, especially the fantasy element with modern gaming bits throw in.

i loved the series. I like the deck building theam but also the fact that nkt everything is all cards cards cards.

I have read all the books and am now listening. The narration brings the story alive.
