My first series into this genre. I’ve tried others, but nothing comes close so far. Probably in part because Jeff hays is the best narrator I’ve ever listened to. I’m not sure anyone else is in the same league and I have 200+ audiobooks in my library!

Love this series. I have a hard time following, but I work while i listen. I’m not articulate, But this book is badass. That’s it.
In book’s 5-8 you get Mechanical Heart, Cyber Noir Redux, Proxima Riven and lastly Apotheosis Boom. Yeah things are finely looking up for Quantum Hughes and his team. I couldn’t quite believe that I found myself facing another 4 book’s of Quantum Hughes, but I reiterate that it’s his team that make up for all..
DCC series is a wonderfully unique and inspiring series that continues to draw me in and laugh out loud in public. The amazing range and depth of the performances brings the characters to life.

The performances are amazing as usual. The story is getting more and more serious, but still throws some fun in. The new battle mechanic is not for everyone, but it didn’t take me out of the story.
