So for a brief moment, I thought this was going to get predictable and trite however, there were enough layers and character development and reasonable plot twists that I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’m even more so looking forward to the next books in the series
My gosh. I’m hard pressed to name a single thing I dont like about this book except maybe, like Princess Donut said, I’m a little concerned about Carls language. Otherwise the story, the dialogue, the humor, the voice acting, the descriptions, the pacing are alllll a 10 out of 10. I don’t often go back..

I love how this entry of the dcc series brings so many of the characters and plot lines back together.
This entry in the series adds some new world building outside the dungeon. More drama and high stakes for the characters. I’m betting it’s gets even better with the next one.
It’s incredible I haven’t listen to a series this fast in a long time. I usually have to take a break but I’m too hooked.
